This is the perfect blend of ready to use pond planting soil with Florikan fertilizer included. This All-natural, non-toxic planting media contains a clay and sand mixture. McDonald's Pond Soil is perfect for supporting your aquatic plants and does not harm aquatic animals.

Each 4-quart bag will fill a 1-gallon planting pot

Directions: Fill a one-gallon container or pot one-third full of McDonalds pond Soil. Mix The contents of the sample bag of Florikan included inside of the bag of pond soil into the soil thoroughly. Put the plant in the container making sure the roots are buried in the soil. the point of growth of new shoots and leaves, which are above the roots, should be level with the top of the soil. Pack down firmly and submerge carefully by tilting the pot at an angle so the water doesn't disturb the top excessively.

Hardy Waterlilies plant soil instructions: hardies grow horizontally across the top of the container, so a wide pot is recommended. Plant the rhizome at a 45-degree angle at the side of the container with the crown pointing toward the center. The crown is the portion of the rhizome where the stems of the leaves and buds originate. Be sure to leave the crown exposed. Pack the soil down firmly once the container is filled

Tropical water lilies plant soil instructions: The rhizome should be planted in the center of the container witht he crown expoed and the roots buried gently in the soil. Pack the soil down firmly once the container is filled.

Bog or Marginal plant soil instructions: these are plants that grow out of the water and are usually found at the water's edge. choose a container that will best accommodate the size of plant. Push plant-soil gently but firmly around the roots and base of the plant. Then pack the rest of the soil down firmly.

Oxygenating plant soil instructions: all ponds should have underwater oxygenating plants to aid in maintaining clean, pure, water, with the necessary oxygen to balance the life forces present in ta pond. These plants help prevent excess algae growth and complete the cycle in the respiration of the pond. Oxygenating plants can be planted the same as the tropical lilies and marginals. A one-gallon Cooontainer is recommended. Completely submerge these plants to a depth of at least 12 inches.
